Advantus is providing sustainability consulting for Primary Care Health Services’ new Wilford A. Payne Medical Building in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification and incorporates a range of strategies focused on energy efficiency, water conservation, healthy indoor environments, and the use of sustainable and health-conscious building products.

The building also includes an onsite solar array to support renewable energy generation and reduce operational energy use. Advantus is working with the project team to integrate these sustainability goals into the design and construction process and support the project’s LEED certification effort.
