The Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) is expected to reshape the future of the region by reflecting and serving its community, inspiring the industry, and advancing the region’s role as a world leader. The TMP relocates PIT’s Landside Terminal functions and related ground-side functions to a new facility that will be built adjacent to the Airside Terminal. It also provides a new parking structure and associated roadway system to support the facility.

Advantus is part of the design team working on sustainability and LEED certification for the 700,000-square-foot terminal. Advantus is collaborating with the design and operations teams on a variety of sustainable initiatives, including energy and water efficiency, materials selection, waste management, mobility and vehicle electrification, healthy indoor environments, and the Airport’s pursuit of the 2030 Challenge.
