Advantus is providing sustainability and commissioning services for an 11,000 square foot administration building and garage for Western Butler County Authority (WBCA). The new building will be located on a parcel adjacent to the existing wastewater treatment plant in Zelienople, PA. Sustainability and environmental stewardship are highly valued by WBCA and the building design reflects this through a number of sustainable features. These include energy-efficient systems, an onsite solar array, and stormwater management through the use of a green roof. The design also focuses on indoor air quality and occupant comfort.
