Advantus provides sustainability consulting services as part of Gensler’s on-call planning team for Pittsburgh Regional Transit. Our work supports planning and design efforts for transit facilities and transit-oriented development projects, with a focus on integrating sustainability, resilience, and long-term building performance considerations early in the planning process.

Assignments have included sustainability support for the East Liberty Garage and Larimer Station planning effort, as well as the Brushton Transit-Oriented Development project. Advantus has assisted the project team in evaluating sustainability strategies related to energy and water efficiency, healthy and sustainable materials, site and transportation considerations, and applicable sustainability frameworks.
