Advantus assisted Upper St. Clair School District in achieving the WELL Health-Safety Rating for all six of its schools, encompassing more than 875,000 square feet of educational facilities serving students in grades K–12. In 2021, Upper St. Clair became the first school district in the world to achieve the rating across all of its schools.

Advantus reviewed the district’s existing operational policies and procedures, identified opportunities for improvement, and documented initiatives related to cleaning and sanitization, ventilation and filtration, emergency preparedness, health services, air and water quality management, and stakeholder communication. The work helped align the district’s existing health and safety practices with the WELL Health-Safety framework and third-party review requirements. Advantus Engineers

Advantus has continued to work with the district on annual WELL Health-Safety Rating renewals, assisting with ongoing review, documentation, and updates needed to maintain the rating over time.
