Advantus served as sustainability consultant and commissioning agent for the 20,000-square-foot Western Butler County Authority Administration Building. The project incorporated a green roof and solar array and prioritized healthy, sustainable material selection. Advantus worked with the design team to establish sustainability goals aligned with WBCA’s environmental stewardship mission and grounded in the project’s budget, operational needs, and practical implementation considerations.

During construction, Advantus provided contractor sustainability training and coordination, including support for construction waste management, construction indoor air quality management, and sustainable material requirements. Advantus also provided building commissioning for energy code compliance as well as additional commissioning to support the optimization of building performance.
