Advantus provides on-call sustainability consulting services to the Allegheny County Airport Authority, assisting with operational sustainability initiatives at Pittsburgh International Airport and Allegheny County Airport. Our work includes utility and energy data analysis, greenhouse gas inventories, carbon emissions tracking, and other sustainability planning and reporting efforts.

Advantus has prepared independently verified Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas inventories for both airports in support of the Airport Carbon Accreditation program. Most recently, Advantus completed the 2025 inventories, contributing to Pittsburgh International Airport achieving Level 2 Airport Carbon Accreditation and Allegheny County Airport achieving Level 1.
