Advantus provided Fundamental Commissioning services for Pittsburgh International Airport’s new Multi-Modal Complex (MMC), which includes the terminal parking garage and Customer Service Building. The MMC was developed as part of the airport’s broader modernization program and provides parking, rental car services, and direct connections to the new terminal. The garage includes more than 3,000 parking spaces, while the Customer Service Building provides enclosed access to rental car counters and other ground transportation services.

The project incorporated energy-efficient lighting and controls, high-performance HVAC systems, and other measures intended to reduce energy use and improve operational performance. The MMC achieved LEED Gold certification, and the parking garage achieved Parksmart Gold certification.
